Painted Wood Alpha
Supplies needed: Eyecandy & PSP
 
1) Open up a 500 x 500 image
 
2) Grab you text tool pick a big fat Text 250 is what i used but for scrappin you want them around 400
 make sure that you have floating checked

 
4) Go to eyecandy/wood Use these settings
 
5) Now Add some noise
With these settings
 
 
Now we need to do Cutout and Inner bevel
With these settings :) you might want to save these presets so you can do it again sometimes easily..
 
Okay now the wood part is done.. Time to add the PAINT
 
1) Right click on the active layer and merge visible.
 
2) Go To select- modify- contract --11
 
3) now create a new layer and make sure its on top of all the other layers..
 
4) Now grab fill tool and fill in whatever color you wish & Then Select/Select none
 
5) Now go to Eyecandy 4000/Jiggle Pick the Preset TYPICAL TURBULANCE
 
5) now grab your magic wand and selected the painted area
 
6.) Now go to effects/3d effects/inner bevel
 
6) Now grab a color.. And fill your selection
 
You can choose to change any of the settings I have chosen..  
Now you can leave it just the way it is.. And be finished.. 
Or
You can go on to make it look distressed.
By using grunge brushes of your choice..
 

I just used a Rose brush and put it on eraser.. Couldnt find a grunge brush..LOL
