Painted Wood Alpha
Supplies needed: Eyecandy & Photoshop
1) Open up a 500 x 500 image
2) Grab you text tool pick a big fat Text
3) Right click on the layer to Rasterize
4) Go to eyecandy/wood Use these settings
5) Now go to Filter/Blur/Glaussen Blur
With these settings
Now we need to enter Inner Shadow and Bevel and Emboss..
With these settings :)
Okay now the wood part is done.. Time to add the PAINT
1) Grab your Magic wand and select the wood layer
2) Go to select and INVERSE
3) Go to select inverse again..
4) Now grab your magic wand tool and hit shift key and
Select the middle of your A.
5) go to select inverse for the last time.. LOL
I have no idea why Photoshop is so goofy with this.
5) Go back to select /modify / contract. Use 11
6.) Go to Layer /New Layer
6) Now grab a color.. And fill your selection
6) go to FILTER/EYECANDY/JIGGLE
7) Pick the Preset setting Typical Turbulance
8) Now right click on your paint layer and
Apply these settings in bevel and Emboss
Now you can leave it just the way it is.. And be finished..
Or
You can go on to make it look distressed.
By using grunge brushes of your choice..
