VINTAGE GRUNGE OVERLAY!!
Photoshop Or PSP
Okay I made the Doodle Pattern.. For you to download.. You
can get it
hereOr if you like or if you have one You can use that one..
Or you don't have to use one at all!! LOL
1.)Open new 500x500 transparent image
2.) Fill a layer with A color of your choosing.
3.) Open up your Pattern overlay ...
4) copy and paste it to a new layer..
5.) Now right click on your overlay layer and Click on softlight
and lower the opacity to your liking (IN PHOTOSHOP)
If doing this in PSP right Click ON layer and go to Properties
You can change to Overlay Or to Softlight , and Adjust the layer opacity.
6.) Now Merge Visible
7) Create New layer Fill it with BLACK
8) Go to Filters -Render-Clouds (IN PHOTOSHOP)
In PSP Go to Mura Miester Clouds..You
can use these settings or your own
9) Go to Filter-Add noise (photoshop)
PSP --Adjust add noise
In these settings
10.) Now Go to your Layers and Click on Overlay Or soft light
, whichever you prefer
You can also lower the opacity to your liking..
In PSP.. Right Click on your layer and go to PROPERTIES.
11.) Now create a New layer.. Fill with black again..
12) Go to Render-Fibers and use these settings..
In PSP Go to Adjust-Add Noise-Then to
Effects Brush Strokes...Use these Settings or close to it..
13.) Now go to IMAGE-Adjustment-Levels
IN PSP Skip This Step
At these settings
14.) Now go to IMAGE-Adjustments - Threshold
In PSP Adjust-Brightness/contrast--Threshold Do
this until you reach the amount of scratching you like.I used 45.
At these settings.. (this makes your lil scratches)
15.) Now make this layer overlay or softlight again whichever
you prefer..
You can also lower the opacity..
PSP..Remember right click the layer go to options you can
adjust same way
16) Now Merge all layers...
17.) Select all
18.) Go to select-Modify-Contract 25
19.) Now grab your Burn tool.. Burn the outside edge of your
Paper..
Darken the corners more ..
Use these settings..
That's all you now have a beautiful Vintage Grunge PAPER!!!
