PATTERN OVERLAY PHOTOSHOP OR PSP

First thing to do is find yourself a Pattern do a image search on google or whatever You can also look in your pc.. .

The size doesnt really matter just dont want it to be very small.

You want the pattern to be around 300x 300 Resize it to that if its too big. If its smaller than 300x300 then leave it the way it is DO NOT RESIZE..

In PHOTOSHOP go to the top and hit EDIT-DEFINE PATTERN

If In PSP skip this step...

Now open New image 3600 x 3600

Now grab your fill tool Select Pattern and fill..

Now Create a new Layer

Fill with color of choice!!

Now Move your FILL layer Under the PATTERN layer.

GO to your GRUNGE layer and and GO up to OVERLAY.. Or Use SOFT LIGHT

I prefer Softlight most times but sometimes Overlay is best you can try a few til you get the effect you want.

IN PSP the only thing you can do is adjust the tranparency.. (this is why i prefer photoshop for overlays) But it will get the job done..
